Before I go searching I thought I'd ask on here. Anyone willing to sell a electronic dizzy to suit an A-series. Name the price all Ill consider it fair or not.

Pm or email me. Dont want my future dizzy to be stolen by a thread leech

hi how are you.
You can buy a brand new electronic ignition system to suit the A series distributor from a company in Victoria. Which distribute them through most auto parts stores.
As I have put this into my original dizzy on my A12 motor.
It is called IGNITOR. They advertise in the Australian Classic Car Magazine.
Just ask about it at your local auto parts store, and they should help you out.
I bought mine through Burson Auto Parts here in Tassie.
I am not quite sure on the price, as it was a while ago since I bought it.
You just take out the points and put this thing in. (very easy to install)

Anyway it's worth to investigate.
Hope I was of some help.

GO THE DATTO.

I have heard about these before and I think they're a bloody good idea. Although after reading through previous posts I was under the impression they were well over $200. Does anyone know what they are really worth?

Freak just goto wrecker (or nissan dealer) and get a pulsar N12 elec dizzy. take your old 1200 dizzy cog from the bottom and have it put on the bottom of the N12 dizzy. Weld a small extension onto your stock dizzy plate. Put the N12 dizzy in your car. Tune. Drive.

My N12 dizzy came from picknpayless, cost $50. the cog to get put onto the N12 dizzy cost me about $15 from a local auto electrician. (couldve done cog bit myself). I had the dizzy plate extension done for $10.

The dizzy B120 is talking about is a more expensive option but its probably the best option. Its a bigger better dizzy. I was going to do this, I even acquired an bluey elec dizzy, but the N12 one is cheaper.

Funny, I offered one for sale a few days ago, and no one even looked at it twice.
again make a REASONABLE offer that will include the cost of shipping from here to there, (USA to OZ) and it will be yours.
I did forget to mention that from 1979 on ALL cars built for the USA had electronic ignition
find my original post, read it and then decide for yourself, I can email pics.
