What sort of gains would ya get out of a standard 1200 with turbo , eg hp 1/4 mile times etc , just rough ballpark figures , i know there are a lot of veribles

i mostly here of around 50 - 90 kwatw but there is that freak engine with 260 or whatever

You could easily double the HP (if using intercooler and high boost).

This would result in 1/4 time going from 20 seconds (stock) to 16 seconds (turbo'd).

stock atw hp is somthing like 22kwatw if this is correct 15 psi of boost has more than quadrupled the hp from my a12

it all depends how you do it.

there's a bunch of math that you can do and figure out if the amount of HP you want to attain is even possible.

15psi is a good target, but without lowering compression you won't be doing it on cheap pump gas.

i can get my hands on a 1.50 cd stromberg or a 350 holley would any of these be any good for turbo
