Some people just have no scence of value what so ever. I am proud to have my Dat in the driveway it shows that a person of discerning and implicable taste lives here. I wonder if you can lower your rent by doing the same thing?

I have two dattos in front of my house, it should increase the value I think....

Real estate agents are such tossa's,now i know why thay all have sticky hands when you meet them.
I believe the opposite to be the case.
If i stopped to look at a house with a Porsche and a Benz in the driveway i would immediatly think the occupants where in heavy debt and an easy hit at a low offer,if i was a thief,i'd also look to this house as an easy target as they would also probably have lots of plasmas,electrical stuff etc. on tick as to keep up with the jones's next door and because thier likely to be dinks and self centered selfish pricks they won't have a decent dog to look after the place whilst thier out servicing that mortgage.

Unlike a place with a Datto in the drive,you know they own it(or should)and have a life outside paying finance company's and banks just to keep up with the neighbours and wanker real estate agents contrieved perception of street appeal.

Lets face it,grab 100 average people of both sexes and all ages of the street and have them point out a Datsun.....the major majority would'nt have a clue!
I still have people come up to me at the motor racing!!of all places asking what the KB10 is!

Real estate agents rank with me as,worse than used car sales people and bankers put together(there are exceptions,like on this site)they are WANKERS and oxygen thiefs in general.

No such thing as a 20yo datsun. That survey fails.

The people who they surveyed are obviously far too materialistic for my liking. If you were looking at such a big investment, surely you would consider more relevant things like public transport, services closeby, how old the suburb is, architecture etc. If you do take all of these issues into consideration and you find a place you like, you probably wouldn't notice the neighbours "20 yr Old Datsun".

Sure, untidy wrecks in the yard aren't a pretty site, but having a go at the Datsun is a bit sharp!

EDIT: Oxygen thiefs! I have an in law who is in the industry and she continuosly raves about how many 'dodgey things' go on. I can even say that I'm not at all confident she even knows how it all works

this survey is a crock! really, how on earht can they say that owning a datto will decrase the value of your house? do they know how popular these things are now days? or the price in buying one? i believe that if your buying a house that you look at " THE HOUSE" and not what you have in the drive way... come on.. i know alot of welthy people who love the ol' datto's.
