lowering problems, got some pics up now

gday fellas just lowered my ute, lowered it 5" in the front and 4" in back about to be 5" in the back as soon as i can get 3" lowering blokes, but the problem is now the front tyres scrub on the floor pan at full lock i am thinking of bashing the floor pan arches out a little bit but was seeing if anyone else has had this problem and did they fix it another way ? front tyres are 175-65-14" and ii think there either 120y or stanza struts .

This is typical.

The 14 inch 75 series are too large in diameter, even at only 175.
But this is also dependent on the change in the track width on the front, when people put new wheels on their 1200.

People regularly section (remove a bit from) the floor pan to increase space for bigger wheels on a 1200.

Bashing with a hammer will help, but you really need to be running 60 series tyres when using 14-16inch rims.

you can also try machining some off your castor rods, which will bring your wheels forward and increase straight line stability. I run 15" rims with a wider track and don't have this problem.

there are 165 65 available as well, you need more castor to pull wheels forward but the floor mods at this lowered height are more common and practicle if you plan on staying this low

smaller tyres 55 series will fix and it should make it scrape along the road too.put a pic up of ur ute dude should look sick

i will take a photo today and post it up, cheers for the info guys.
still gota go another inch at the back but would like to go another 1" in the front and 2" in the back but need shortened struts!!

There is a 175/55/14 available but yeah definitely increase caster like others have said, that will help and you'll also get the bonus of better handling
