I reckon this should be Chris's next job..

Get alloy rocker cover flanges cut, you could even cut the top out of the center of the flange, then just bend up some sheet for the sides and weld it up!

Got full 3d drawings of various designs.

First CNC 5_axis cut is expensive, following cast items are quite cheap if numbers are good.

Have a whole host of different labels/titles to put across the top of the rocker assembly.

What is your engineering company? And what is your name?

Chris

Sounds good Aaron, my capabilities are near enough non-existent

But I can measure and I can 3d just about anything. Also pretty good with a spanner and I know the A-series fairly well.

I had some quotes in from various companies, do you have a CNC machine (what sorts)? I had planned to have these made through a friend of a friend in QLD but I haven't got round to doing a 3d print to test fit.

I actually thought about using a blank head to slice the top section off
for a flange and then weld up the walls using durafix welding rods.
Finally a flip top lid made from chopping up a nissan L rocker cover.

I reckon you could just make a trace of the gasket for the base, and do a square one to give it the "race" look.

Considering some of the racing rocker covers ive seen in photos, making up something like them should be achievable.
maybe I can justify the TIG welder i want with these...
