Any of the l4 might but any thing with an L6 should do it easy enough. 260c or 240k sedan.could be cool. Even a wagon of sorts for the full family.look.

The very best would be the 620. It can tow a heavy rig.

Back in the day, we used to tow an RX3 to the drags with a 1200 ute (a15 power!!) and I used to tow a rally 1200 with a sunny panel van (a12)... so any datto is up to the task!
Cheers.
Adam.

Club Runs are often on mountain highways, are they not? Most Datsun will not be good towing a 13-ft trailer up and down hills.

To go up hills requires more power (or lower gear ratio) and requires a strong chassis mount.

To go down hills safely requires weight. Excellent brakes alone will not do it.

Having brakes on the caravan should help if the car's on the light side. Will make it more stable to.

Amazing that you knew I was referring to the Powell and not the Datsun!
