I will be working on a cheap blower kit for the a-series engines, approx 6psi boost so standard internals should be fine. Crank pulley will be 140mm od and will be an option of amr500 blower pulley sizes

1. a-series steel crank hub...done
2. 6-rib with v-pulley, 140mm od...soon
3. 50/60/70mm amr500 pulleys...soon

The Inlet manifold to hold it will be the challenge
If you can mount is similar to the mini ones and
use a spacer to have the charger centrally located
you can use a sidedraft SU or similar with good
clearance to the towers.

The one below has a massive awkward inlet manifold
which could be made way more compact and simple.

Here's an AMR500 in a 120Y

Not sure if that would work with a 1200 motor, since the alternator is bolted to that side of the 1200 motor.

I'd be interested in a crank pulley, possibly the 500 pulley also (depending on the size of the crank pulley). Could you do a slightly oversize crank pulley so we could retain the AR pulley and still be overdriven?

Currently working on amr500 extension housings so blowers can be mounted directly on top of standard manifolds. There will be two adapters, one to mount blower flat and the other to mount at 45degrees.

Toying around with either top or 45degree mount, i think top is the way to go. Mockup of carby manifold soon, will have flange for SU but i will have adapters for different carbys. These amr500 adapters will be multi-fit, datsun/toyota/daihatsu/suzuki...etc

What's the max RPMs on that supercharger? 14Omm crank with a 50mm pulley pts you at almost 3 to 1.
I ran a little over 1 to 1 on my supercharger with my A15 and got 5 psi. That was spinning the SC at around 11000 RPMs at 8000 RPMs on the motor. That was more than enough for the A15 that I built.
But it just wasn't fast enough.

Has anyone seen any power figures of an A series with one of the AMR 500's on it?
