Saw that last night.
Certainly a really nicely built little car with some serious gear.
I am pondering over whether to have a crack at it myself but the big question mark is what sort of damage has the smoke done? If its been hot enough to melt the hood lining then one can only wonder what the wiring loom is like...
Lets see where the bidding gets to.

$8k to $10k worth of parts alone. Most of that in the motor alone, going by the build specs. I think if it sells for less than $10k it's a bargain.

Off on a total tangent; does anyone know what brand of dry sump pump that is? I have one that looks identical.

Seems low temp damage, as the headliner is only partially melted, ditto for the cowl top grilles. The heat was outside the car (building fire). Engine alone gotta be worth a bit, and bidding starts at $1 out of auckland, is the owner a member here? Quote: 1972 Datsun 1200 B110 Coupe race car with log book.
Heat/Smoke Damaged in building fire. Was driving before fire.
Requires a lot of work and I have no idea what the rebuild cost would be.
Includes huge selection of spares.
Rego on hold, cert plate but would require a lot of work and re certifying before being road legal.
