hey guys,

this is my first post and hopefully not the last.

I purchased march build 83 model 1200 ute.

I grabbed the complete bare sheel and running gear, car has had the complete panels replaced new lights and new , well everything really. Im in australia and wondering where can i get a copy of a workshop manuals eg, wiring diagrams etc, as i need to rewire the complete car including dash.

Any help will be apprecitaed and i will post some shots soon, before and after. The car is being sprayed as we speak in WRC Blue, as i work for Subaru, what a better colour to spray it in.

Thanx guys

Damian

You will need to fill in your location field in your "details", otherwise we don't know what state/city you live in. Makes helping you a little easier.
Getting a Nissan factory manual is nice, but any 1200 manual will probably do. The wiring of a 1200 dash is not rocket science, buy a multimeter and figure it out. It's not that difficult. Although I'm biased, having owned 1200s for a while.

Took me 2 months to get a book from Super Cheap Auto, wasnt there fault as it had to get reprinted. Cost about 40 dollars and has what you want in it. It looks to be a genuine Nissan one. Go in and ask them for a workshop manual.

Its got the wiring diagrams in it too.

I've picked up 3 manuals (B110, B310, N10) in the last couple of weeks. All for a VERY good price and still in plastic wrapper. Check out Kiwi site.

I work for Super Cheap and we can order in Gregory's manuals. I havent asked Gregory's about 1200 ones but way back when I got my first 1200 I wanted a workshop manual and the bloke I spoke with at this shop that sells them told me they dont print them anymore (cant remember if it was Haynes or Gregory's he was talking about). But if you got one from Super Cheap then I spose we can get 'em still. I am lucky my 1200 had one in it when I got it.

I got one from a second hand bookshop that was closing down. Cost me $5...
Bargain!
It's got everything in it. Also for the 1000 as well...
