regs are finally up on the BLCC site as of yesterday. I've just mailled my entry forms in today.

So who's definitely coming? I've been promising my mate in his '76 Civic rally car some fierce competition from the mighty A series 1200s and Sunnys. Actually I've promised him he'll get a complete hiding!

Can't wait to see Andrew's beast in action. And hopefully have a run against him in the Supersprint?

yeah, it will be good to catch up and to meet benny, R-fast and converted.

I'm not camping out after a long drive from Brisbane, but looking forward to a few beers and Datto talk on the mountain or wherever

I'm really not sure how the GTR's going to go against you Andrew... it will definitely be interesting Its going to be my first event in the car too, and the first corner I'll get to is one of the fastest in the country

Hi everyone,

I've been waiting eagerly for the event info for some time now. I've never raced at bathurst before and its right up there on the 'things-to-do-before-I-die" list.

Does anyone know where runs start and stop each day ?? I'm keen to see how much of the track we will actually get to use!!

It would also be great to see Benny & R-Fast and meet the rest of you.

Daniel (& Michael)

yeah, you won't regret it Daniel. I had a ball there in the 1200 in '03. Walking around with a stupid grin on my face all weekend from finally getting to tear around parts of that track that you've seen on telly since you were a kid... I couldn't believe how wide and smooth and grippy the track was either. Nothing like our tracks up here...

Conrod Supersprint starts in the dip on Conrod Straight, near the bottom of the first hill after Forest Elbow. Plenty of time to build up some speed for Caltex Chase... And it finishes on the start finish line on Pit Straight. So you get the Chase and Murrays Corner.

In '03 they did the Esses Hillclimb, so I don't know where the start/finish for the Mountain Straight Hillclimb is, but like you I'm keen to find out. I'm sure Andrew will be able to tell us.

The mountain straight hillclimb starts on the hump going up mountain straight through griffens bend and then BP cutting reid park and sulman park next finishing up on the exit of mcphilliamy park. It used to finish at the
begining of reid park but they have made it around 500 metres longer Its a great bit of track as harry said its soo smooth. I cant wait to meet everyone and compete for the two days it really is the best event for the year for me.
