In addition to the main fuse wire (Fusible Link) in the engine compartment, there is a main fuse box under the dashboard.

Overview
1972 USA Owners manual (Page 35 ... ):
If a fuse needs to be replaced, refer to the specifications listed on the fuse box cover.
Fuses
B110 uses the standard cylindrical fuses used by all cars until around 1980. The numbers are:
Nissan 25461-89901 or 08941-11000 FUSE (10A) Nissan 25415-89900 or 08941-11500 FUSE (15A)
AGC Type (All Glass, C length 1.25 inch), 1/4" diameter (approximately 6mm diameter x 30mm long). SFE20 type is the same.
IG: Ignition Switch Circuit > only HOT when key is in IGN position * 'W' 15 AMP Wiper, Washer, Heater * 'M' 10 AMP Meter, Reverse Lights, Alternator Regulator
Battery/Alternator Circuit > always HOT * 'L' 15 AMP Head Lamp * 'PT' 10 AMP Park lights, Tail lights * 'C' 15 AMP Radio, Clock, Cigarette lighter, Room lamp * 'H' 15 AMP Horn, Stop lights, Hazard lights
There are also two empty holes in the fuse box to hold two spare fuses.
Location
It is located under the dash above the driver's right knee. It is bolted to a bracket on the bottom of the dash frame:

Late Ute
Utes from 1982 feature rectangular fuses. Also eliminates the plug-in connectors on the back of the fuse box, which was a problem spot in older 1200s (now the harness wires go directly to the individual fuses, whereas formerly they ended at large spade connectors).

The "ENGINE CONTROL" fuse was also used by B310 and other 1980s Datsuns. It is the main Ignition-switched feed for the engine harness. Feeds the vacuum cut, fuel cut, and auto-choke relay.

Fusible Link
The Fusible Link ("Main Fuse") connects to the POS battery terminal about six inches from the battery. The fusible link is a special length of wiring that will melt if its rating is exceeded and is there to stop the electrics if the car is drawing too much power, like an open short circuit.
Cleaning
If your fuse box gets HOT or starts melting (but the fuse does not blow), then remove the fuse box and CLEAN it. Soak it in vinegar for 10 minutes.
Or if you are getting electrical equipment not working, clean the fuse box.
Why? Dirty connections cause undue resistance, eventually leading to overheating and partial melting:
The reason that fuse lead is getting hot is because of resistance. This is pretty common with old-styled glass fuse boxes. You get resistance at either the fuse itself, or the connection between the fuse and the terminal — along with whatever other resistance is present in the wiring. The corrosion is at the fuse box connections, which is why it gets hot, and why it melts.
- Disconnect the battery NEG terminal
- Remove all the wires from the fuse box (take a photo first, or write down carefully which wire goes where). Mark each wire with a piece of tape.
- Take the Fuse Box in the house and soak it. Fill a small bowl with distilled white vinegar from the grocery store. Soak for 10 minutes.
- Rinse with water with a little Baking Soda mixed in -- this will nuetralize the acid from the vinegar. Then rinse with plain water
- Dry thoroughly, or let dry overnight
- Put a little dielectric greaseᴳ (a LITTLE not a LOT) on each copper terminal (front and back of fuse box). This will help prevent moisture corrosion
