The Datsun 1200 has a unibody design made out of high-strength steel. It does not use Body-on-Frame construction. The result is a lighter, stronger and stiffer chassis.

Front Panels

Core Support & Apron

The main front body panel is the Core Support, so named because it supports the radiator core. To this is fastened the Front Apron (valence) finishing panel.
