'S' Ornament (winged S)
The famous 'winged-S' was used on all 1972 Datsun 1200 Coupes, including Deluxe, GL, and GX. This is due to the facelift minor change.

Although it look near-identical to the rear badge, they are not interchangeable.
Grille badge - diagonal screws | #Rear badge - level screws
Fits any plastic 1200 grille -- meaning it bolts to the early coupe and the mid-model 1200 truck (1978-1989)
Although from the factory it only was applied to coupes, it can be modded to fit on a Sedan Grille:
Grille Trim Badge
Trim badge was placed on left side of JDM grille. USA coupes had no trim badge.
NOTE: the base version (STD/Standard) has no front-mounted trim badge. Neither did DX/Deluxe.
