10psi boost = 100+ horsepower

Grunterhunter:

torque like a turbo diesel. You really notice the extra punch down low. ... i had to tow [another car] up a reasonably steep hill (probably 1 in 5 incline)- Half throttle, 3-4 psi of boost at 2000 rpm in 4th and it just chugged its way up, happy as larry

Grunterhunter draw-through setup

POST Grunterhunter: my setup lasted a surprisingly long time with non intercooled drawthrough 10psi and 9.7:1 comp- but it does have a fairly big cam, so compression is all relative. You are shooting youself in the foot putting a shim in an otherwise standard engine for 10psi. decreasing your squish will rob you of lots of kW without much gain from the decreased comp/ extra boost potential.

A Weber 32/36 Carburetor is bolted to the blower
