Datsun 1200 has a parking brakeᵂ system with the handle conveniently located between the two front seats. Also known as "emergency brake", "parking brake" or "handbrake" (the primary brakes are called the "service brakes").

The front cable is different lengths to suit different body shapes, there is some interchangeability but sometimes you end up too short

Hand Brake Cover
74965-H1000 original type was a beautifully minimalistic piece. Datsun called it the hand brake boot.
B210 intially used the H10 cover but in the second year switched to the H73 part.
B210 cover also fits and is the official supersession part since back in the day.

Emu-skin cover
H59 cover includes magnetic seat belt holders
Unlike the two other covers, this requires a bracket to bolt to the tunnel

Warning Light
Dash-top Indicator Lamp
Some utes had a PARK BRAKE lamp on top of the dash that lit up when the handbrake was activated and IGN was ON.

The light switch was added to the hand brake lever.
