hey evilbetty,
i am still prepareing my datto and was wondering the general idea with spraying the tray of a ute. do you sand it all back paint and get it perfect or just paint with another type of paint because there will be tools in the back. keep the good work up!!

hey evil betty, firstly the job u are is doing awsome, and i am also currently prepareing my datto for spraying, just got to fire a few questions at ya. um i have been sanding back the paint, but would it be quicker to use paint strippers and is it hard, and laslty the datto has so stock paint on it now so do just sand back to take off gloss or right to bear metal. cheers mate and keep up the work

where about's in sydney is that "vg auto paints"
i found a booth to hire in broovale in my area. and i will be using 2 pac paint. but stock datto paint would be acrylic i take it so does that mean i must sand to bare meatal.

hey appsy, thanks for the input, thats a very different design and it should turn out sick if it all goes to plan, do those shallow mount pioneer subbs fit in the door pannel. i might even give it a crack cause it's the only logical way to put a decent sub in other than a bazooka sub. and wat size mdf will you use! cheers mate
