also you want 200 laps for $80 thats ok if you dont let any one else have a go !

also if you make your own lunch and bring drinks from home you can save more money!

i think the day is fair if we could do it cheaper we would

Whoa! Easy there fellas
Yes, if you want to seriously practice getting your lap times down or setup your car before a big race then an $80 practice day is for you. But if you want a fun day mucking around on the track with 30 dattos then attend this event!!!!

Hi fellas

As I am President of the Sydney Datsun Club I am involved in this too, I can assure you craig there is no way we will profit, infact I think you'll find the Ambo is a bit more now and any more than 25 cars timing is extra. It is electonic timing too with a receiver in the car, not hand timed.

We will run the day in heats, generally A race cars, B turbo/fast streeters and C the not as fast ones

You have all now met Ben our newly appointed motorsport secretary, he is a nice bloke beleive it or not, but it is dissapointing for him trying to get his first event up and going and be hit with negative responces, in which he has no control over.

Wakefield do the track days cheap because they can, if we owned a race track we'd have cheap practice days for all too

Last day was awesome, as said, its the atmosphere and people you don't get on a practice day, and its just us... it would be good to see you guys down there, especially Craig and Mark, we really want to put on more of these motorsport events and who better to have at these events for ideas, support and good spectating than you guys.

Cheers Fellas.

-Jon

I think $190 for a days racing & a licence (if it lasts a year) isnt bad value for money for someone that has never raced a car. One speeding fine will cost more.

Sounds like a great day I should have the old datto cranking.
Its also good to get lots of notice so i can work on the misses LOL. The last Autosports day I went to was $140 with timing ect even with 40 cars we al got a fair bit of time behind the wheel I got 8x 10 minute sessions in with 4 groups of 10 cars so 30 cars should be better

I am pretty keen to come along..... I'll let you guys know soon. It's always fun hanging out with all the Datsun boys and girls, and it's a bit hard to take the Sunny on a "cruise"

Mark.
