R.I.P Steve.

From all the Aussie blokes who've travelled in North America.......

Without you we would've had no-one to impersonate while trying to impress the local females .

What a great australian citizen. Can only and will only ever hold praises for the man. Has done so much for australia, more than any one on this site will ever do, consider that for a moment. What we do for ourselves dies with us, what we do for others lives forever.
R.I.P Steve Irwin.

Yea sad to hear, thoughts out to his family. A good Aussie. RIP steve.

Dodgeman I think you bring lots to this site but I think it was a moment of bad taste on your part as saying goes "if you dont have something nice to say dont say anything at all"..

He did some dumb stuff, and a lot of the time the things he said about scientific principles were a far cry from being correct or informative, but his heart was in the right place and he was a bloody good entertainer.

RIP steve.

DM, thats a very weird response! i didn't think you would buy into it like you did. The point a few are trying to make i think is that regardless of your opinion it probably doesn't need to be said the day the guy died! its like if phunkdoc felt the need to rock up to your funeral and give a speech on what he thinks of you.

in regards to the croc man's death i think to judge him badly on anything he has done on telly and create an opinion based on that would be a very harsh way to see a guy who dedicated his life to animal conservation and taking Australian wildlife to the world, we are just lucky there is no TV watching and judging us. i reckon he was a great representative for Australia. The guy would not have put his boy at risk in front of that croc, he knew what he was doing.

As dattodude said, life's too short - leave nothing to tomorrow.

RIP steve irwin

I didnt like him he gave me the S&&ts.

A shock that he died ? I Cant say its a shock when someone who plays with animals that will kill you all day dies.

People die every day we dont live in a dream world.

Since its all about freedom of expression. I would just like to say " I would happily take the time to piss on your grave dodgeman for the disrespect you have felt the need to show someone who has passed before Us."

Where are all your puppets now Conman. Maybee I know. Go on vent your spleen. Cause Dats-hot to watch you loser...

Very few people risk children in front of crocs and although steve did, there are enough humans for such an exercise.
Men like Steve help nature just that little extra. He changed so many from just thinking we can crap on every animal just because they arent cute or fluffly.
A true unique aussie icon that nature and australian tourism will surely miss and suffer without.
