Definitely not bolt in, but you don't need to hack your car at all to fit it in.

<------------------ do a search to find out more, any questions you may have don't hesitate to ask.

I have L16s in two of my 1200s and unless you have a welder and the know how then you probably shouldn't do an engine conversion really.

been done a few times on here, and once by me.

L20b is a tall motor and so it is a little hard to get it under the bonnet. You can either cut the sump down, or dish the crossmember (probably a better idea). Needs custom engine mounts (obviously) and tunnel will need modifying. I just cut the tunnel out of the 200b and welded it into the ute, but there's plenty of other options including buying the prefab tunnel from maddat ( i think they do them)

anyway here's some reading material:

link2
link3
link4

check out my photo album too, i think there's a couple pics in there...

sorry, can't help with the 200b struts.

hmmm. gotta have a think about this. if im gana do all the messing around doin the converion, i might just wait and go something bigger. but for now i really want better struts and brakes??? i dont know what will bolt in? anyone else know if anything bolts in easy? hopefully goin to pick up most of my parts 2moro:) decided to replace every single panel on my ute except radiator support and where the tail lights bolt in. goin to pick everything up except my new doors arent in yet.

what about any other datsun motor that will go in thats bigger than the 12a but not too much messing around to do it?

thanks heaps for ya help guys.
