What a disgusting display from the WA members of this site!!!
Not only did 1/2 of the people at the start fail to get underway, but some also got pulled over buy the cops!
Then some of the remaining people just turned off & we're never seen from again!

At the Ravenswood Pub we only had Rubin & partner, Mal & partner (sorry girls I'm terrible with names) & me!!!
Rubin had ordered these fantastic platters for everyone but with only 5 people to eat it all, most of it went to waste...

In all my years in the Datsun community being involved & running cruises, I have NEVER seen such a rude, ungrateful, uncourteous & unprofessional display from the members from this site.
Sure some of the members couldn't attend due to other commitments & that

i totally understand...feel sorry for you guys. Dont understand how things like that can happen. I so wish i couldve come but no way of getting there and dont want to make myself a burden on others. Events like this should be full of fun and excitement that others of the same interest get together and swap stories together and get some advise by the oldies of the group. But hey thats just me and my advice. I love datsuns and hope to see more events being held here in perth. I say give it up for Rubin for organising it

Yeh i know how you feel Lurch. Thats exactly why i pulled out of being even organiser for WA. Just no enthusiasm(excluding the usual crew) out there! Pitty i couldnt make it the whole way but had other things to do that day too!

i turned up to a cruze with only 2 dattos befor omg

but from the last cruze that ruben did ( a series car club cruze ) was a big success ,

Man, that is just rude!!! You will have to start collecting deposits from people to cover costs, it's a shame really. I would have come if I could (daughters 3rd birthday).

i dont think that i need to say anything more than what has already been said.

I had a great time, and so did the rest of the crew that came along. As far as i am concerned thats all i am fussed about. Bad luck to the those who missed out.

And bescides, the food was great despite the massive amount, the company was great, and no we wont talk about the incident in the drain on the side of the road will we mal...

oh and yes I will organise another event. I am not dicouraged by the somewhat misadventures of today, I had a great time.

The next cruise will be to Toodyay for an over night stay at my new place. I expect it to be late in the year, maybe end of november, early december at the latest cause its too hard otherwise with christmas.

Oh and a big thanks to Mike for turning up and letting me go for a little spin so that I can maintain the enthusism that i have for the ole 1K, and the motor that started it all.

And yes kitchen tables are still the best place to rebuild a motor.
