Actually, the 1969 Datsun Sunny 1000 model used the same short spear as the 1968 model. It was only the 1970 model that got the longer blinker spear

For the four B10 & VB10 models, there were three grilles & three & three blinker lights.

1967 Dome blinker, Grille 'A'
1968 Short spear, Grille 'B'
1969 Short spear, Grille 'C'
1970 Long spear, Grille 'C'

The VB10 in the picture looks to be a 1970 Sunny DeLuxe model with a 1968 grille.
[DeLuxe because of the bright trim along the top of the mudguard & along the door.]

The last first 2 times I was in japan there cars were everywhere as it cost money to have a car recycled, but due to the increase in metal prices they were all gone this year when I returned. :(
