I can imagine how easy this can happy. Projects are f'n dangerous unless you double check every bolt is tight before going for a drive. The excitement of getting it moving under it's own steam is very strong.

Take it easy. and write a good checklist before driving it for the first time !!

Guys as dattodude said please be careful. We often overlook the fact that we are building things here that can be very dangerous and safety should always be a high priority.

Not heard much yet. I expect the people close are still in shock. Probably someone will know the details on Datnet today sometime.

I feel very familiar to the situation with the excitement when a project is so close to being finished. Could have been me or one of my family with the many backyard projects we've done over the years. Gotta have a quiet prayer for the guy... Even if you're not religious.

From the Picture, it looks like the top of the motor is SR or FJ, not really a motor for first P Plater.
