Hmm somebody has restored this (or at least repainted it) with some odd taste.

1200 side indicators, non 1000 front park/flashers, custom grill(not too bad i spose) and a very odd canopy! Then theres the tube bar(4WD term) on the front with the original side support holes blanked off. And the front apron looks to be modded

Wheels would look better if they fit in the guards or had flares

Still a tidy B10 ute so thats gotta be admired i spose

My guess is that this ute has been 'repaired' & restored to an acceptable cosmetic state using available materials instead of difficult-to-source original components.

It looks to be more of a workhorse than a show pony & it would comply with relevant requirements utilising whatever was affordable & available.
The grille was probably painted body colour because that was what was in the spray gun at the time & the
grille emblem was probably 'liberated' from something in the scrap pile or wreckers.
Datsun Saves.
Works for me.

Incidentally, [you know I'm a pedantic SOB] it's a B20. the '10' code was for passenger models, the '20' for
open back commercial models, or trucks.

Im sure they tried to modernize the poor b20 and they went through the trouble
to make a custom grille yet not bothered with a longer piece of pipe to wrap around a tad.
Instead they bothered with the psychotropic 70s vynil cladding from a VW Manx
to house Chupacabra hybrid like midget children in the back on the way to Catholic church on sundays.
The Benetton sun visor is so classy that would make an Italian fashion lily proud matching Calabrian style mirrors.

Its not beyond rescue though which is a positive.
