Hi,

As some of you know, the Datsun 1200 Club is being hosted on the "Branco bros" home server thru our cable connection. That has served us well, but as the Club is getting bigger we are consuming more and more bandwidth, and when our ISP billed us $90 last month and $70 the month before, we had to start looking and working on a way to make the club self-sustained.

When the datsun1200.com adventure started we were paying for our network connection $35, then the bill escalated to the figures stated above, we are consuming more bandwidth in a day then on hole initial months!

So the decision was to move the club from our house to a dedicated server, on a well prepared data center. It provides a faster and more reliable servi

It had to happen. No such thing as a free lunch.

I bought a couple of shirts and a sticker to get the ball rolling.

I challenge others to get involved. Especially the USA people for whom the cost is much less.

I think the freight is a lot I paiud more for freight than for the sticker..

If you get Beer Holders (stubby coolers). You ought to sell them in lots of 3 or something to reduce freight costs. They don't weigh much.

Thanks for your help mate, I will try to find those coolers some were. Yes, it's a bit expensive, but it's looks like a good way to setup a world wide distribution.

We have sustained the cost of hosting the club to the limit, the situation got more complicated when I left my parents home, we used to split the costs but from April this year my brother was left alone paying the internet provider since I had to pay my own connection to the internet on my new home.

I sure miss the datto server fans wisspering...

Hy, I am willing to put my sand grain in for help, I would like to buy Datsun products, you should have a section of cool Datsun logos, patches for jackets, with Datsun,(alone, for those who have other Datsuns besides a 1200) Datsun 1200, SSS, GX, etc, also stickers, parts for cars like overfender flares, made of fiberglass or plastic, with one mold, several can be made, actually, the club can make not only money for the monthly rent, but revenues!
There is many ways we can help, lets think of a plan, no problemo.

Hi Daniel, Is there a chance of getting some Datsun1200.com stickers made up that have "exposed letters" (without the white background). I could have some made up here in NZ, but its about supporting the club. Cheers Damon
