Don't know about over there but the only cars matt black over here are normally #OOPS#ty old corolla's and starlets. Leave matt black for the bogans.

I like the light silver black wheels combo better than charcoal personally. I also reckon b120dat's (?) ute looks pretty sharp in red with the silver superlights. Baby blue/medium blue and black wheels looks pretty cool too.
(just please don't put 17's on it. It will look like a roller skate)

Yeah silvers nice on 1200's We plan to do our 1200 wagon Bionic Blue its a nice color for 1200's i reckon.

a really light gold on black rims would look awesome.

I asked myself the same question a few weeks ago, but decided to keep the origional Sunshine Yellow (which is more like a lime yellow)... such a unique color, cant loose it in a parking lot and its so of era for the 70's

My cars have always been resprayed in their factory colour, bar the racecar.

Yea, I must agree with some of the other guys. Keep it the same color that it was originally or do some research on the colors they came out in from the factory and choose a original color.

Call me old fashioned but I like shiny gloss white.
