I haven't started anything but i am thinking about my clutch and my CA conversion. Has anyone ever put a pedal box out of a 180b, or any other booster and hydraulic clutch equipped datsun, into their 1200? I have a pedal box, that i think is out of a 1600, that is pretty big and i don't think i can modify it to fit.

Also, can some people who have done the hydraulic clutch conversion take some pics of their mods and post 'em.

I can't stop thinking about getting in and working on my ute but until uni is done for the year i have no time (but still manage to read sh*t on this site for hours while "doing uni work" on the computer).

what you can do is a buy a cluth master im not sure what type it is i bought mine of maddat in adelaide. And all you do is line up where you will mount it on the firewall in rererance to the clutch pedal use a hole saw to make your hole then remove your pedal drill a hole in that below the pivot for the fork of the master to attach to and re assembly maddat even supplied then braided line to the slave hope that quick run down mad sence and helped

i have done a quick check and the clearance between the edge of my 120y booster and where i'd need to install the clutch master (out the S13 1/2 cut) wouldn't work like that...

Plus with a pedal box from another car (i'd expect) the booster and masters, etc would bolt up to (stronger) plates attached to the pedal box rather than just the fire wall???

thanks matsfatdat.

The 120Y Booster mod is a step backwards.
It makes the hydraulic clutch conversion very difficult.
