Anybody got a good pic of a late 60's early 70's roofrack preferably on a 1000 or 1200 sedan, but otherwhise on a similer era/shaped car?

i would have thought a roofrack would spoil it but that old VW looks really good like a wire artwork, citroen 2CV has something similar

Yeah DD, my boss's are into beatles and thats where I got the Idea from.. and I agree with you 1000coupe I'd like a roofrack but its got be just right!
And the one on that golf dose hav wood slats, its just a little more understated then the beatle ones.
Hardpart will be curving pipe to match the roof?

i was going to put one on my wagon, i Know where there is a roof rack that is long oval shaped on the side wall things, ill get pic and see if its for sale if you like?

Yeah that seems to be big amung beatlers at the moment. like delapedated or even no paint, and with all the extras Roofracks, Bootracks, overiders etc etc
