you might be able to get an engineer to say its safe, still doesnt mean you can get it registered

and where are you finding a 1uz with a manual box and computer for the same price as what you can get a CA which would be around $1500

they are heavier than a gen 3 v8 and much heavier than a dodge hemi 2,
buick/rover v8 and 370z v6.
A Nissan v8 pushrod Y40 stock with alloy heads easier to maintain and oldschool no pollution gear. You just have to find one or import one from japan.

{ive been running a y44 nissan v8 for about 12 years now runs fine neat fit in engine bay
on pulling a y40 apart we found they well made 4 bolt mains valve guides 4 barrell manifold but never found anyone who hotted one up or made parts for them interestingly the nissan 6 cyl flywheel bolts up to the crank} end quote.

i reckon it'd be too much weight up the front end, much the same as jamming a holden v6 in. you'd have to weigh the rear down to balance it, which kinda wrecks the point. the CA's work well cos they aren't too heavy, i was tempted to go a v6 cos they cheap as chips haha, but the weight wouldn't work well
