Thanks for the offers fellas but i've already booked a cabin, probably a good things as i've got a pretty savage cold at the moment and probably will spend all night coughing my lungs up. Anyways i'll see you all either tonight or tomorrow.

good times up at winton again, mark and i ended up arriving at about 9:30 sat night to meet a few of the NSW boys and a cabin full of farting VIC's.

Simon managed to get there in his coupe after no sleep for a week and was good to see it out there having a shakedown. after a small incident... aiden bettered his lap times each session as did ange and andrew. Stu had his beast out there but was having some gas issues so wasn't at its best but still got out there!

Bob was blasting around in his 1200 coupe and was quite quick as well. very impressed with ange in the ute getting a 1:46 first track day out and improving each session.

i'm keen as to get back out there - going to the shed now to make a turbo manifold. once my wedding is done (so the car doesn't need to look as pretty) i'll be back out there :)

datnats anyone?

lap time results

It was good to meet up with some of the victorians for a fun day at the track. My car ended up on its lid in the first practice session in what might just be the gentlest roll-over in history, a few dints in the roof above the windscreen and a broken door mirror was the only damage.
Had a good run for the rest of the day, the last two sessions saw Andrew (chooie) and myself dicing in a SR20 vs. A15 battle. The A series won round one but won't be so lucky next time I think.
I really like the layout of Winton, it's got a great variety of tricky tight corners and fast sweeping bends. The kink in the front straight would have to be the favourite part for me.

It was great to be there! Big thanks to Leigh, Mark, Ang, D, Levey For their help with hands and parts! And anyone else that helped that i may have forgotten.

Im was very happy with the car , Rear tires rubbing, noisy diff, poor handling, and being shown two black flags aside! I think it has some potential!

Cant wait to fix a few issues and get back out there.

Loved the two 1200 sedans of Aiden and Andrew, just sorry i didnt see more of them on the track.

I think a road trip up north will be on the cards.

Well done to all, we`ll do it again soon.

Hope everybody got home safely.Great day out with lots of skill and daring or should that be dill and scaring ? I had a ball and I think everyone else had a good day.I was impressed with all our guys skills and I know quiet a few of the regulars took more than a passing look at all the little dattos.
Wouldn't mind reading a race report from each person on their day and what they thought about it.
cheers
Bob

Looks like it was a great meet. Sad I couldn't have been there but I am still paying for the world's biggest shed. I know you have all heard and seen my 1000 coupe race car. One day it will hit the track again! Very jealous and missing racing. Well done guys!

Cheers
Mark.

Here is the second Vid, Aiden was on a mission... I spent more time looking in my mirrors than watching the track...
