I'm about to go on a family holiday overseas. Our vehicle for the 3 weeks is an auto B310 A12 which I purchased for extra street cred. Can I treat the auto trans like an A series motor i.e. lots of revs, roll backs etc with no trouble? Will it be a weak point? Should I just grow up and stop showing off to my kids?

theres a suzuki sierra? (wierd small convertible 4 wheel drive) that is running a suzuki swift gti engine with a custom turbo setup, I saw it boosting near my house, and we talked for a bit, he spent nearly 25 grand on mods and it still wasnt finished. It went pretty hard but.

My big worry for you, in regards to weak points, is the amount of times you will have a spin with too much power-on oversteer (wakefield).

To the best of my knowledge,Borg warner boxes were used in Oz because of our local content laws and also 1200's were built here.
My Dad used to sell 1200's new and he recalls that the coupe was fully imported from Japan and if you wanted the five speed option you had to wait for the car to be built.

anyone know whether the a-series Jatco bellhousing fits the r31 4 speed?
Are r31 4 speeds electronic for the overdrive unit? I had a carbed liteace with a 4 speed overdrive box and it felt like it had infinite ratios....I could go as fast in reverse as forward which was scary fun.
