Im looking at using smaller springs and retainers
for this particular head so I can angle and enlarge
the ports further. Im looking at 3-5mm less overall.
Can anyone advise if this is possible using smaller
diamter dble or triples valve springs?

maybe try finding an off the shelf srping set then get retainers made ?

wouldnt be too deer ,if you got for doubles ,then theres less machine work beened

if you angle the valves wont the springs try to lean aswell ? or is that why your going for small springs ?

good luck !

Im going to weld up the spring base area so just wondering
if anyone knows of a small diameter double valve spring
and retainer I could use from another nissan engine?
Im sure the L series ones are just as big wont be any good.
Im going to use larger in/ex valves so need to be steady
enough as well to support bigger valves.
