Has anyone on here fitted R1 carbies to an A15? Or knows where I can get a manifold to either buy or go to get fabricated...
Cheers.

I'm slowly (very) working on something similar, mine are cbr100rr. One of Clyons' flanges will save you a heap of time if you're going to make it yourself, take the opportunity to port match the head and dowl the flange before making the manifold.

Have a look in my photo album, I only wish I had more time to work on it, slowly getting there though.

I've seen a few in the photo section of the website under fuel and induction or whatever it's called. It might have been lagwagon who'd already got this working on an A15 in a 1000 wagon he sold. But I could be confusing him with someone else.

Do a search on throttle bodies and see who and what comes up.

I have some older FZR100 carbs but they are CV type although they do work, I'm using Keihin FCR flat slides. They are a down draft carb, read at 45 degree angle same as Yamaha carbs. The manifold is a custom unit. As a bike racer first, these work for me as it's what I have experience with.

I seriously doubt those are R1 carbies. They look like the Keihin CVK probably 34mm (the 'K' for Kawasaki), they were featured on many bikes and are a fairly old carb (early 80's?) The BS34 was the mikuni equivalent.

Last set I had of those I gave away for free.
