Do you need custom rods or to trip the piston at all? The ACL catalog says the comp height is 33mm for the E15ET, 32.5mm for the A14 and 30mm for the A15. Is the catalog right? It's probably alright to take 0.5mm of the top of the piston.

These use the same 19mm press fit pins as the A14's do.
Depending on how tall the factory A14 deck height was, and how thick the head gasket is, you might get away with not skimming the top of the piston. However, if you needed to, these pistons have quite a tall thin squish band/dish. So there's plenty of scope to shave them down safely. In fact, the bowls are so large, I'd even recommend taking some off, and then having the block zero decked to suit.

I actually came one here to put up an add to sell my brand new set too, but I'll wait till the OP sells his first.

Thanks A14Force for the info on the pistons i wouldnt know, My engine builder does all the work for me i just put it all together. These pistons were for my A14 and i found out i had 1500 oversize pistons already. so they are too small for my block. No wonder it went so hard!!

From what i can see there not Teflon (Not Shore), but if your serious i can send you a pic.

How far over is your block mate?
Mine are .030 oversized. And they have the thermal barrier coated crowns, and lubrication coatred skirts too.
These were for a one day motor. But a mate just persuaded me to sell him that A14. So Mine are now surplus.
Might fit your engine?
These are a really nice strong piston. Compared to the bone china breakable A series ones, these will lap up the boost like a big thirsty dog!
