Hi everyone, it has been a while.

The clutch in the coupe let me down today. Any opinions on the clutch kit below:

Ebay Clutch Kit

I would be lucky to take the car for a run every month, so cant justify a expensive kit and while the engine and box is out I want to do head gasket, rear main seal and timing belt.

So next question is what head gasket is the go for a stock motor?

Any thing else that I should consider replacing?

Cheers

All I can say that I bought 2 of those brand clutches for 2 different cars a suzuki 1.3 and renault 2.0 and they are too soft on the pedal with hardly any clamping pressure. Both are due for a change after only 6 months.

i would try this mob they can do a stage 2 or 3 version for very good price
eg. ca18et

looking at the KA range maybe they can swap something or you mod your flywheel and still save money as not only more avail but ka clutch should be much stronger

stock KA

stage 2

stage 3

What does a normal brake n clutch joint charge for a trusted exedy/prb clutch kit? wouldnt think it would be too much more than the $150 maybe $250

keep it simple and trusted brand i would think unless you have a big performance engine

Would not touch pbr, have had bad experiences with their driven plates failing, exedy on the other hand for a mass produced product is pretty good. Around $160 for one off ebay.
