Researching rear axle set ups now. Reckons the h165 is good for 1.8L. Am I going to break it with the 2L?
If i can keep the stock diff and put 3.7 gear ratio in for longer legs my wallet(wife) wont get upset.

Stock will work. Just don't lock the rear end.

welded or open h165 will stand up to an L20b perfectly fine, i ran one in my sedan for years before i went to the BW78

if you want to use the 200b struts you need either 120y steering knuckles or 200b steering knuckles..

and also the 120y or 200b radius end rods for it to sit correctly

Or use 1976-up 1200 ute knuckles and radius rods (and LCA).

No, definitely not deep dish. But you may want to get wheels with less offset for the rears. The 810(200B) struts add 25mm to the front track. Better yet get 1/2" wider wheels and 20mm wider tyres for the rear.
