Hey boy's and girls just need a quick hand last week i gave the boy's at qbn engine services my A15 to get all sorted for my 70 thou over bore forgies and machine port and polish my head and as im doing it im swapping the cam now i only have a couple simple queries
One being what does everyone recommend a good brand and many people have used it..
Tomei would be something i would like to run but so expensive $900 odd + postage but then i go look at the other end of the scale at Auckland cams $125 or wade cams australia
Why are the cam's so cheap from Auckland cams??
Now with the new setup im wanting around a 296 - 304 duration cam with 7 - 7.5 lift as the new displacement comp ratio, twin webber's double valve springs ect.. will be where i want it up to around 7000rpm mark good for street as well as some little hill climb and gymkahna events
My next question is are these cam's generally late model cam's??
Where is the best place to get good lifter's for reasonable pricing..??
here are some examples as what i am looking at
