A limited number of jukes run the r35 gtr drive terrain...and have been upsetting many a cars on the dragstrip.Couple of videos on youtube showing quartermile times of juke r35 gtr running gear vs r35 gtr

For the sake of the forum,assuming you have been tasked with developing a new 1200,Would you mind posting your sketch of a 2016 datsun 1200?

if we dont complain about style we are all just brown noses of the Puke that comes out from wasted $$$$ millions

Nissan Puke is an excellent example of something that will not be timeless or collectible and due to the Prince Dept it goes faster with gtr running gear

Aussie grown Holdens design dept is embarrassing the bigger departments and making the local Ford styling a joke. Look at the latest Commonhoe interior it kills almost anything out there.

Pity Holden is not making a compact frills free rwd 6 speed Ls powered coupe

A new 1200 concept might look like the Juke but with rwd only (drive train out of Rasheen) and other cost-saving changes.

I should make it clear that I'm not one of the guys in the team that normally does the sketching, I'm involved in the team that brings those sketches to life in 3D. If you need parts modelled, animated or rendered, I'd be better off helping in those areas as they're more my forte.

If you're all wondering what a new 1200 would look like, Nissan has already done the work for you, it's the Datsun on-DO...

Holden do the same thing, year after year, - just like Ford.
If you ask me, Holden and Ford are poor-quality Aussie garbage. And i'm 100% Australian..
Then you have HSV and FPV, and what do you know, they are exactly the same but they are terribly expensive..

At least they are better than GM USA. We keep importing them here. The Monaro as the Pontiac GTO back in 2004-2006 and now the Caprice as the last of the V8 police interceptors. The GTO was liked except that GM blanded down the styling worse than the Monaro. Ford brought over the Capri convertible and that wasn't very successful.

You've got a point.

I would say though that the fit and finish on VF is much better than previous models, it's still not as good as say Audi or BMW, but Holden has at least gotten closer to VW in this department.

As for quality I would say that mostly steams from poorly built imports, the Cruze and Captiva and Colorado are pretty terrible in this department unfortunately. It's hoped that the newer Vauxhall imports will do better in this department.

If you are just talking Commodore though, I challenge you to find something with as good value for money as an LS3 powered RWD SS. When they're on sale they sell for $42,000!
