Its been a while since I installed mine but from memory it is about 520x220x60mm. It is just a cheap ebay cooler. Its pretty tight in there and i should have really trimmed a bit of the valance to bring it forward about 10mm for clearance to the radiator - the hoses just rub on the radiator and i have no room to move the radiator back.

With an S13 radiator in a 1200, between the radiator and the grille, you can fit an intercooler maximum size of:
* about 26" TOTAL length
* about 12" high
* about 2.5" thick

This one is 9" x 26" x 2.5" and fits there

rx3 or rx7 radiator is the best because it puts the outlets in the best spot for the ca.. not too tight for the intercooler pipe... check my build

I'm installing mine ATM too.... I'm using a 450x300x70mm intercooler so far I have had to cut about 30mm out of the front lower apron out and grind back two spots on the grill to give a little clearance so the grill doesn't rub on the cooler ! I'll be running a custom cross flow radiator tho and will be moving the top hose outlet so it doesn't collide with the intake piping ...

Hey,
I used an aeroflow unit from eBay. its matt black and you can't see it behind my grill. I also used a stock ca18det radiator with twin SPAL fans to make it all fit. i can't find a pic but its all pretty tight. Im in the tropics and the stock super thin ca18det s13 radiator does a great job of keeping it all cool.

In my old S13 back when i was still using the CA, I had a saab intercooler. I remember it being pretty thin which could be handy.
