Looks good craig. One question for you !! has the front end been spaced out or is it just the offset of the rims?? The front end definatly looks pretty fat.
My 15x7's sit in a fair bit more than that the rear is a lot wider though. 2 weeks to go for me Ive got a wheel alighnment booked this week. Whats the number 40 for??? your Age ROFL

nice job Craig!

I use a Corolla (KE55 I think) Borg Warner diff to get the same track at the rear as the Stanza struts gave me on the front. They come in 3.9, 4.1, or 4.3 ratios, and they bolt up to the 1200 springs. If those ratios are suitable, it might be a good, cheap way to sort out the track.

Hi Guys, thanks for your comments much appreciated.

Jeff, yes I would like to try those spacers at the race this weekend if thats possible???
The reason Id like to try it before Id buy is that I have been told by an experienced 1200 racer that increasing rear track frequently produced slower times...

Andrew, the 40 was a random # picked by the IPRA club for me...Im not into numerology....but I know the best number is #1 on a race car. The front track has only 2 x 6mm spacers on each side and fills the flares nicely.

Harry, the corolla diff would be great, one of these days Id like to do a commodore converstion.
Diff Trans Spares in Granville Syd NSW do one cut down, disc to disc with reco LSD centre for $2000.

Mark, the logbook didnt happen Friday night but is Monday night...hopefully Im sorted...
if it doesnt pass, then I have only Wed night to pass then get logbook on thursday...whew..BTW the pics at Oran looked great.

No worries Craig, just give me a call.
I have no illusions of having the same knowledge or experience as Mr Taylor but you don't really see any racecars with massively narrower rear track. Matching (or slightly narrower for a chassis car) seems the go . Mine is probably a tad too wide but I'm not going to cut it down for the sake of 10mm or so - far to lazy for that! Chris runs a b/b wagon diff in his which is only a tiny bit narrower than mine (if at all) and we all know how fast that thing is !!!!! Anyhow, try both and see how it feels to you
Cheers
