Bluebirds often feature Independent rear suspension (IRS) starting with the 510 series. 510 wagons are a notable exception, although export 510 sedans may also may have a live axle.
Later 6-cylinder-equipped Bluebirds, starting with the G610 and the G810 -- stretched models -- may be considered D-class (mid-size) cars. At the same time the base 610 and 810 were shorter cars.
