Competition Oil Pump

Nissan Competition Oil pump can in two varieties: 1) high pressure/high volume and 2) dry sump version.



The Nismo Competition oil pump generates an oil pressure of over 100psi and does not self-prime. It has two gears instead of the standard pump's geroid type (trochoid pump).

Instead of a rotor with lobes on it there are two gears that pump the oil. It also has oil cooler connections on the exterior of the pump.

Dry Sump Type

Part number 15010-M0821 is an A-series competition oil pump with a second stage. Looks just like any dry sump pump driven off of the camshaft. Per Nissan, the dry sump lubrication system is especially effective in long distance races.

Oil Cooler

High Volume Pump

Instead of purchasing the Competition high-pressure/high-volume pump, You can make a hybrid high volume oil pump, by using an L-series rotor, which (being thicker) results in extra volume.
