The day has come - delivered my 13BT series 5 today! I got a shock to see the actual outside condition of the rotor but one will only know for sure when it`s opened up? Will leave this to my friend Rotrix to check out and decide if we can rebuild it!

Note the 56A markings. 4-speeds can have the mark in either position.
The better way to tell is the shape of the extension housing. As you can see by the yellow lines, the 5-speed has a rectangular blocky part to the extension. The 4-speed extension 'bulge' is nearly circular. |

4-speeds can be either clutch-cable or hydraulic (the one in the pic is hydraulic type).
The 5-speed always has a cable-actuated clutch (you can see the lever at the top of the bell). |
