Same as the Datsun Competition C/R gear set, but with spur gears(straight-cut gears. Kit has a new COUNTER gearshaft, and matching INPUT shaft (with machined input gear) and matching 4th, 3rd and 2nd gears. This kit does not change 1st gear.
Spur gears:
* Make a cool whiney noise
* Stress the case less (no axial forces are generated)
* Cannot transit as much power as helical gears, but the weakness in the 56A is the case strength

Please find attached a picture of my new cluster along with the 2 straight cut gears for my 5sp c/r 60A box.
It appears that 4th gear has now become 5th and there is a gear in the middle.

Copper is a superior heat conduction, but modern aluminum radiators are manufactured to meet or beat the cooling potential -- via thicker core (50 mm thick vs stock 32mm thick) and via improved fin design

genuine Nissan, this one from a 280ZX.
This goes under the body in the rear under the gas tank. The small thing is a "damper" to smooth out the pulses and quiet
You will need to add a return line from the pressure regulator (at the engine) back to the tank. You can either Tee into the the filler hose, or have another steel line welded to the tank.
You can use this with a 1200 as the stock 1200 tank has some baffling inside. Just be careful, same as with the 280ZX don't run the tank low or the engine stops! |

The factory B110 inductive style tachometer works with the SR20, CA18 or any 4 cylinder engine, with one to four coils. Run the coil pack wire power through the white wires on the back of the tachometer.

A-series Tomei Long duration, high lift camshaft.
Brand New and NLA.
Was kept as a spare.Very rare to come by and esp in brand new condition.Arrived 6 months ago from Jap.
Same camshaft type/spec as used by tomei hirota,advan and many other A-powered cars in jcca.
Duration:
78 Degree, 312° advertised, 265° at 0.05" valve lift.
lift(Based on Zero Lash and Theoretical Rocker arm 1.5 Ratio):
7.75mm @ CAM , 11.20㎜ @ VALVE
I will use these camshaft with my new Nismo high-ratio rocker arms.
For my application purposes,It would be absolutely pointless to run this type of camshaft specs on a Naturally aspirated highly modified A series engine(narrow powerband and in the higher rpms) and then use a stock "geared" gearbox.I simply can't afford to drop 2000-3000 rpm between gearshifts as these camshaft will move the powerband up the rpm range.
These is where a close ratio gearbox comes in handy.More torque multiplication,less heat,faster acceleration (less top end),less rpm drops and most importantly,keeps the engine within its sweet spot on the track.On the track,Better if combined with the right diff ratio and tire sizes.
I have read that apparently Tomei camshafts are "kind of" street friendly but will update forum on how it behaves on street in the future. |

For my application purposes,It would be absolutely pointless to run this type of camshaft specs on a Naturally aspirated highly modified A series engine(narrow powerband and in the higher rpms) and then use a stock "geared" gearbox.I simply can't afford to drop 2000-3000 rpm between gearshifts as these camshaft will move the powerband up the rpm range.
These is where a close ratio gearbox comes in handy.More torque multiplication,less heat,faster acceleration (less top end),less rpm drops and most importantly,keeps the engine within its sweet spot on the track.On the track,Better if combined with the right diff ratio and tire sizes.
I have read that apparently Tomei camshafts are "kind of" street friendly but will update forum on how it behaves on street in the future. |

A-series Tomei Long duration, high lift camshaft.
Brand New and NLA.
Was kept as a spare.Very rare to come by and esp in brand new condition.Arrived 6 months ago from Jap.
Same camshaft type/spec as used by tomei hirota,advan and many other A-powered cars in jcca.
Duration:
78 Degree, 312° advertised, 265° at 0.05" valve lift.
lift(Based on Zero Lash and Theoretical Rocker arm 1.5 Ratio):
7.75mm @ CAM , 11.20㎜ @ VALVE
I will use these camshaft with my new Nismo high-ratio rocker arms.
