hey . im going to buy a datto wit a a14 motor is there a year that had more power than the rest or better gear box on it ????? and wat the modle im after ????????

The only passenger model Datsuns that I can think of that had A14 engines in Australia were the B310 Sunny Sportswagons & I believe that these would have more power than the vans that also used these engines.
All of the B110 & B210 models had 1200/ A12 engines in Australia, as did the B310 Sunny sedans

We only got A14's here in some B310 models but I have seen one with round ports instead of oval. Same manifold bolt pattern as an oval port though

Let's not forget the devestating A14(S) package in the early N10 Pulsar. It was definitely the highest revving on tap hp deliverer A14 that I have ever driven. I was so impressed with mine that I exported it to another country where it awaits transplant into a 110 or a 310. Now I just need to stop my extended layover in the US and get back to Aotearoa and begin construction.

if your just looking for a good fun datsun get a b210 l;ike a 1978 with an a14 oval port engine. good engine, fun car
