H190 in the back
R180 in the front (4WD)

Apparently the later ones (3/83 on) have LSDs?

The front is an independent suspension setup that won't fit easily in a 1200.

um i think its a 2 wd not a 4wd lol i think its a 720 not shore ill take a picture of it on the weekend or is there an id plate or something in the engine bay lol

It should say on the compliance plate what it is. I had an 85 model 720 4wd it did have an lsd in the rear and it was a good diff and strong too never gave me any problems. Not sure what the 2wd have though.

How does the track width compare with a 1200 and what ratios were available? Cheers

ratios - anything from 4.1:1 through to 5.1:1 or so, because there were 2wd manuals, 2wd autos ,4wds, diesels, etc, all seeming to need a different ratio. The track is wider than a 1200, but the axles are so tonka you wouldn't have any problems narrowing & resplining them, though you'd have to get the stud pattern changed.

or use bluebird series 3 axles, should do the job
then get a nice 1500 ute alloy front housing

makes it one nice diff, but they are the same width as 200b adn bluebird diffs.....so maybe 2-3 inches wider a side at a guess
