Hi guys
Just wanted to know the availability of 5 speeds for our little A series engines.
I have a customer who imports performance gear from the states and has just gone over to fill up a couple of containers. If the logistics and availability are easy I may be able to get some imported.
So our liitle american friends are they available and how much ?
Thanks
Bob

They are a few out there...Unfortunately or fortunately with the high prices that Ebay brings for them it allows a certain few to purchase them and many to profit from the sale of them!

From my recollection, there are a few over there and other members have talked about shipping them over. I think that they go for around the $400 mark which is a sh!tload cheaper than over here. If they can be found for a figure around about that (plus the obvious shipping & a little markup) I would be greatly interested, however I only want a 60L...

ive been browsing the junkyards as of late. so if anyone has any A series parts they want (around my area) i can pick them up and ill only charge for the price i paid+shipping
and if i find any 5 speeds, ill pick them up regardless of whether i need them or not, but i can talk out pricing with any members (same, whatever i paid+shipping)

Its the shipping that kills the idea, but if there was already a container comin over then it may be feasible...

If you're in Aussie, keep an eye on trademe.co.nz. Depending on who's watching an auction, I've seen them sell for under $200. They go for a bit more when you guys start bidding. lol
