Well I have to say that I am just about over it, there seems to be many differences and soooo many bugs I am at a point of changing my home page. I agree that Daniel has done a mountain of work to set things up and help fix any bugs but i am sick of clicking on a post and then being taken to the last post, then I have to go back to the first post to see what its about. Can someone help me out here or do I change my homepage so I dont have to be reminded of my browsing shortcomings.

I'm sorry you fell that, I will try to help you as I can.
On the front page, if you click on a post you go the last post of that tread, the idea is too keep up the the latest conversation, you will have to check it out the club several times a day to keep up.
If you want to browse to the first post, you should use the forum link on the left, and check the forums listings.
I usually use the booth methods depending on how often I login.

Now with the all this login issues I just check the from page, when I some days off in holidays, I had to go the the forums listings to read the things from the beginning.

Come on, you have to admit it's the best 1200 site, bugs or not. And with a bit of patience the bugs will be fixed and it will be better. :)
An integrated spell check program would be good, cause I can't spell for sh!t!

i vote for people to just be patient and try help fix the problems instead of grilling daniels site, without this site my 1200 would be nothing, i bet this is the first forum thousands of people log on to before any other.dan is trying to make it even better for all of us enjoy there love for 1200's. best site on the net hands down.(redtube 2nd ha)

Thanks for all the work its always welcome to have things fresh and new. However i havent been able to log in since the new site was uploaded and none of the suggestions have worked thus far. My mobile works for some reason though. How difficult can it be to see what the difference is between how the old and new site handles cookies or whatever is causing the issues. Also i could log into the new site perfectly when it was available in parallel for testing so there is something to look at. The random page from login on the left has been moaned about endlessly but nothing has been done i would just have removed it by now. On the old site you used to be able to select if you wanted older or newer posts first why cant this feature be brought back. Once again the new site is cool once you get used to it but im not that desperate that in going to make posts from my mobile all the time.

The reason for the delayed frontpage and random login page was to reduce the traffic on the frontpage. Apparently if you login at the top then this feature is avoided.
The argument over which is the most efficient versus the most common method for browsing forums is up to personal taste. Mcdonalds burger may be faster, but i still prefer to buy the ingredients and make my own.

Don't give up yet, the debug process of this problem has been very slow, It works with all the computers I have access to, (linux,windows,mac), with the browsers firefox, ie and opera.
The debug process has been making a change and asking the community if it works, than it fixes for some, but not yet for all... and some times it works worse.
The more people we have testing, the better

I tried to log in from home now no luck. It logged me in but when i tried to post in this thread it have me this message. "Invalid submission. You could have exceeded session time. Please re-submit or make a backup of your post and login to resubmit he necessary." this was within 30 seconds off login.
