i got my discs s/hand 40,000km old machined them and got them slotted $90 a pair no over hang on my settup all the same mods as 1200rallycar listed but n14 disc bit smaller/no overhang couple of pics

so which disc are people using? as the CA18 silvia disc is supposed to be the one to use, but it has an offset 4mm different to the N14 disc...so both of them cant work
oh and tommo, did you get those calipers from purple jim?

got callipers of a mate for free had to machine .75 to 1 mm off mounting face to centre disc in calliper making offset less disc is dead centre, no spaces between calipers and strut cant speak for other set up, would of considered u12 disc but not used for some reason

u12 wont really work though would it, not with new pads anyway. as the cruiser calipers are to suit a 20mm disc
calipers just look like the rebuilt ones i sold to jim, same red and chipped paint

Goin to put new pads in my calipers and check before I get the rotors. But it should be OK with the pistons right back. Only problem I forsee is the gap between the rotor and caliper housing. As a small piece of debree could scour the rotor with such a small gap.

with full size pads there should only be enough room to fit a full sized stock disc...so 20mm

disc is tight in caliper need to get it right bit of play in bearing, disc will hit

This is a interesting subject, id like to do it to my car aswell. will it change the wheel track at all and how much heavier will it be? That caliper will look nice and fat behind the wheels! I have heard of people using rx7 series 4 calipers on datsuns
