Any one considered making a carbon fibre or glass fibre (GFRP) custom rocker cover, it is possible to chrome plate them. That would surely work out easier and cheaper. Not to discourage of course. Interested to see the product!

as cool as the alloy one is, i really want a clear poly one, so you can see the rockers and stuff going on. Bit like the clear dizzy caps you used to get. and multi colour leads.

Clear poly would be cool as! Have to get a plastic with low permeability though or coat it with something to stop the oil staining it. HDPE maybe? Make a mold and bake it.

Chris has played with acrylic (those discs he had for the head), maybe he can tell you how quickly that stuff stains. I remember making molds and making things with that in school. Not sure how hot the oven was...

Yeh seen those covers from revheads before they just aren't as cool as the tomei ones tho! I seem to remember some guys on biker build off or American chopper using clear engine covers (although they forgot to seal them properly and they leaked like a bitch)on one of the bikes they built
also i found these Greedy Clear Cam caver
Nitto one

this is much more promising ---> Clear Vue Concepts

I reckon if we had enough people lined up for them we could get them to make some

Its possible as i'm awaiting for a dry carbon rocker cover i bought from japan for the a series.Wouldn't say it was cheap. But what material gasket would one use with a dry carbon rocker cover ?
The cover is using an L series cap hole.

I'd reckon a rubber or standard cork would work fine, so long as it's softer than the two parts it's sealing which I'd reckon it would be.
