me, i like Manga/Anime infact i probably rekon its fairly loveable. you gotta love it. have you seen Devil Man ?

some interesting posts regarding 4NIK8's manga dash got me started on the manga thing. im also interested in what people think about the phenomenon that is Manga.

fav anime flics in no order -
devilman, cyber city oedo 808, the guyver, street fighter2 animated (original one), cowboy beebop, ninja scroll, space adventure cobra, urotsukidoji, ranma, Pat Labor, and others which proceed my mind right now. of course Spirited Away too. Astro Boy when i was about 6yrs old, when my RX7 Matchbox car was everything to me heheh.

if you havnt seen any Anime then go check some out. You can prolly even find some anime that both you and your girlie will like.. try Spirited Away if your gettin some and Devil Man if its an all sausage audience.

early anime in Australia was all highly violent and every second word was #### but it still broke through the ice of society and found its place. modern anime is astounding to the eye compared to the old, all sketched anime. even though a lot of it is done on computers these days, you can still see the good old hard lines and sharp corners and anime style lighting/shading.

you may be thinking perhaps im a lunatic or anime, in general, is lunacy ; but try watching some first. i thought it was all crap once too.

resources:
-60's Anime
-Manga History & Resources
-big_ball (of anger), a friend of mine who lives by this ####. i was introduced to the world of manga by him. everytime i say manga infront of him he corrects me, stating im a moron and that i should be calling it anime.

I like Japan for it's creativity.. But the anime stuff seems to serious be for people that have not found something better to do. I wonder if this "imagined reality" is not an escape for the Japanese men who can't get any.

Please don't take offence. Each to their own, like always. But lusting after cartoon porn is something that makes no sense to me. Is there more to it? Am I missing something?

In the eyes of a martian..we are all strange...

99% sure it's pronounced ann-uh-may.

And my favorite is either Cowboy Bebop or the greatness of Initial D. Initial D is a good starter for folks into cars because it's main focus is street racing (or "touge") in Japan.

It's pronounced "ah-knee-may" well, here in Japan it is anyway. I don't get the hype either. Initial D is entertaining but doesn't make me want to go search for more titles to watch/read.

Id rather burn 1 litre of agvas than 3 litres of unleaded on my old PP and BP mazdas around winton but its a blast just to see 9 grand instead of manga. Then again Im a sucker for old original astroboy or atom (in jp).
